  • 1. Uprising (04:44)
     copy
    Locked inside,
I left behind the life I knew before,
    A fallen angel
    All hope has died,
A broken dream that haunts me to my core,
    No open door

    Open your eyes

Raise your fists we'll never fall again
Wait for an answer or fight for you freedom?
Suffocate and segregate, feed upon your darkest fear
Hold on to silence or die for freedom?

    Where is truth?
A life in ruin under darkened skies
    While children stay starving
    But if we fall, [fall]
We're just another number through corrupted eyes
    We’re all fed lies

    Crawl, Walk, Fall
    Rise, Rise, Rise
What would it take to understand the price of freedom?

Raise your fists we'll never fall again
Wait for an answer or fight for your freedom?
Suffocate and segregate, feed upon your darkest fear
Hold on to silence or die for freedom?

    Seize the day
This is the hour we stand or fall
    Death or elation
    A bitter pill
Knowing that the struggle marks my final call
    Or liberation
  • 2. The Working Dead (03:33)
     copy
    Push yourself to nothing
Blinkered tunnel vision, can you see the light?
    Keep up with the Joneses
A slave to your salary, til day turns night

    Get that next promotion
Crawling up the ladder feeling no emotion
    Have you measured up?
Afraid to? Made to? Who said paid to?

Are you ever happy, ever felt fulfilled
    Measuring accomplishments in dollar bills
    Feeling blank, motive lost
    A surreptitious creeping cost

Work is your master, racing faster, feel that you lost control of life?
    That's never right
Bound to the chair, and the screen, have you ever questioned what that means
    It's just obscene

    “I had a dream”
That's one more dream than you've ever seen
    What did you achieve?
An extra day a decade on your annual leave

    What have you created?
A paper-work mountain rubber stamped and dated
    Write your final legacy...
Reflection in the mirror was your enemy

Are you ever happy, ever felt fulfilled?
    Measuring accomplishments in dollar bills
    Feeling blank, motive lost
    A surreptitious choking cost

Work is your master, racing faster, feel that you lost control of life?
    That's never right
Boundto the chair, and the screen, have you ever questioned what that means?
    It's just obscene

    Time to take this test
If the only world you know ends at the edge of your desk

Are you ever happy, ever felt fulfilled?
Measured your accomplishments in dollar bills
    Feeling blank, motive lost
    A surreptitious deathly cost

When you come a'knocking on the Pearly Gates
Too late for a second chance to change your fate
Who's to blame , for what went wrong?
What kept you blinded all life long

Work was your master, racing faster, feel that you lost control of life?
    That's never right
Bound to the chair, and the screen, why d'you never question what that means?
    It's just obscene
  • 3. Fragments (04:48)
     copy
Broken and distorted just a psyche that’s aborted
My virtue is corroded with the fragments of my deeds
Twisted, overbearing with a mind that's void of caring
All contact is deceiving, a lie that isn't me

Just an imitator - fraud of mind as I invent
I am my creator - character of my decent
Living emulation - walk a mirror to exist
    Life's a simulation - instincts I've learned to resist

Who am I now? / Which part of me?
Who am I now? / Who do you see?
Walk alone, act a drone, the real me is still unknown
'Cause the answer's in my eyes, who do you see?

All days are a motion, I converse without emotion
Every action lacks devotion, I'm just a void inside
My childhood is my master, pulling wings from my disaster
My pulse starts racing faster, behind my hidden mask
  • 4. The Ascending (04:56)
     copy
All is gone, begun shut down
This distant ward of wounded soldiers
One mistake and left to drown
The only one, who knew the answers

Life - the last unknown, dead waste
    Wait - all systems fail
While you observe it's my life
Life - the last unknown, dead waste
    Wait, all systems fail
    While you observe I'm

Trapped inside a cage, a mind that's full of rage
(My) family wait, and I can hear them
Better dead this way, leave my shell today
Turn the switch, start the ascending

Sands of time are running out
The truth I hold needs liberation
Trace my steps and leave no doubt
    My legacy will be forsaken.
  • 5. 100 Days (04:59)
     copy
We were young we were off for war
    Marching on marsh lands
The killing fields near 100 days since birth at Amien

We were but few lost at the campaign
    Reckless absent mind
We were out gunned by Marne-Rheims' keen hand around our necks we yield

Evoke the sentiments of hope, Life which I have wasted
The stirring memories of home seem attenuated

The road ahead leads to prison walls
    Shackled and despair
The mud and rain has spread disease as rats await their prey

Starving me, beating me, leave me to die
    I'm just a soldier
Torture me, break me, how long since Versailles?
    I don't remember.
  • 6. The Remnant (04:38)
     copy
    Rage, lives through your mind
The shadow you fear is me
Wake once and for all, see what you'll be.

    Watch, you sleep,
    A fear we never seek
Close your eyes and see we are what remains

Reflected, resurrected, closed from all minds
Between two worlds, we are the remnant

Breath once betray, shades of the day (neverending day)
    Shadows, Nightmares
    Into the night's embrace
    We rise, one voice
    Where there is no release.

    Call, shadows of the past
    We see through the masks
Loveless departed stay bridging the gap
    Bury all your shame
    Specters burn in flame
    Weeping resentment, we bring anarchy

    Through your eyes
    Observing separate lives
    No interaction confined into Glass
    Deceptive, receptive
    Your senses purge
    Walk through your world
    We are the remnant

    Breath once betray
    Shades of the day
    Never ending day

    Shadows, Nightmares
    Into the nights embrace
    We Rise, one voice
    Where There is no release
  • 7. Caught in a Web (03:49)
     copy
Are you conscious? Do you know I'm there?
Do you even recognise the world that's outside your lair?
You're glued to the PC. And forever online
Your sentence self-imposed and measured in game time

Endless progression inside of your small world
Focused on winning, become the elite
Full time addiction to social seclusion
    Your isolation complete

    Soul cold
    And all alone
    Tied to your to technology
    Rewired your biology
Now .... it will take you down

Hooked to your heartbeat. Adrenaline flows.
    Pixelated paradise, dependency grows
    Total domination. Craving fulfilled?
Sucked into the cycle, you're so weak willed )

You only have one life, you're never respawning
Open the door and step over the ledge
Turn off devices explore with your own eyes
A picture without a screen edge

    Soul cold
    And all alone
    Lost in the ether
    Your world in your hands
    In your space
    No self control
    A solitary ruler
    On a digital throne

    I feel so incomplete
When I'm disconnected, away from my world
    Never needed anything external
    Don't think you've understood
Makes me feel like a king eternal
    Godlike it tastes so good

    So alone
    Cut off your family
    The console commands you now

    Soul cold
    And all alone
    Lost in the ether
    Your world in your hands
    In your space
    No self control
    A solitary ruler
    On a digital throne
  • 8. The Bitter End (04:59)
     copy
If I'd have known, what I know now we never would have started on this path
Twenty years in a living hell, each hour thinking over
One-by-one, count the days, a life enslaved, why do I remain here?

Our lives, entwined, will break our sanity of mind
Divide, rewind, we sow the seeds of our demise

Bound, shattered and mistreated by you, suffocated
Downwards we go, a hurricane that tears us both apart

I let my feelings wither, now there's nothing left, a barren empty home
Feeding off your vitriolic anger, like a cancer in my bones

But I never planned to be your prisoner forevermore
I can't escape, our vows aggrieve me, the power keeps me

Our lives, entwined, will break our sanity of mind
Divide, rewind, we sow the seeds of our demise

Bound, shattered and mistreated by you, suffocated
Downwards we go, a hurricane that tears us both apart

Broken down a piece of your empire, fallen short of context
And all I want, is to break the cycle, start our lives again
Separate your mind from emotion, pacify your instincts
Did you ever dream this would happen? Is this all we live for?
All I want, is to find an answer, find my freedom
All I want, so to break the cycle, start our lives again

Our lives, entwined, will break our sanity of mind
Divide, rewind, we sow the seeds of our demise

Bound, shattered and mistreated by you, suffocated
Downwards we go, a hurricane that tears us both apart
Bound, shattered and mistreated by you, suffocated
Downwards we go, a hurricane that tears us both apart

  • 10. My Design (06:25)
     copy
Down, another precious hour leaves so confused
Dead, inside I'm am sick of living, wanna just crawl out
How many bodies, how many lives?
How much innocence is lost and won't survive
I feel hysteria, I feel your pain,
I am the dying mark of Cane

    This is my design
    This is my intent
    I will tear the walls
    From all that would prevent

    This is my design
    This is who I see
    I am not a slave
    To anyone but me

Fall, I'm not a victim I am lost without a soul
Sin, I know the damage caused is mirrored on my skin
What does it take? What is the cost?
What is the reason I fragment when feeling lost
I'm not your icon, I'm not your guide
I am two minds inside and live in a divide

    This is my design
    This is my intent
    I will tear the walls
    From all that would prevent

    This is my design
    This is who I see
    I am not a slave
    To anyone but me

    Bound to the dark
    Slave to my need
Broken by vengeance, blood and greed

I am the life-force that has come and gone,
I am both Jekyll & Hyde
The body count is my inner song
    In which the reaper confides
A ceaseless appetite that I constrain
    How could you understand
I am hysteria, I am your pain
I am the dying mark of Cane

    This is my design
    This is my intent
    I will tear the walls
    From all that would prevent

    This is my design
    This is who I see
    I am not a slave
    To anyone but me
